CADBuild Construction is a building company that specializes in major private and public building projects in the Gippsland region. Established in 1997 by Chris Banks as CM & HM Banks, the company was built on the foundations of quality, respect and delivery. It is a tradition that continues under the new CADBuild name and the stewardship of longtime director and now sole proprietor, Rob Soulsby.
QUALITY
The quality of our work sets us apart from our competitors. We pride ourselves on the finished results of our workmanship. This can only be achieved by using quality materials and highly skilled, formally qualified tradespeople. Our Site Managers, Leading Hands, Carpenters, Labourers and Apprentices choose to work with us for the variety, complexity and uniqueness of the projects we undertake. More than half of our team have been with us for over 10 years, and most of the other half completed their apprenticeship with us and are building rewarding careers in the industry. We trust them to deliver work of the highest standard, and they deliver.
RESPECT
Communication
CADBuild understands the importance of effective communication throughout the life of a project. We manage our projects with the latest software and technology, ensuring continuity is always maintained, but we are also strong believers in having conversations with people, in building relationships with staff, contractors, architects and clients. Every Project is a collaboration, a team effort, and so every member of the team’s input is critical to the Project’s success.

The safety or our team, and all who work with us, sits firmly above everything we do. The care for our people and our community is genuine and not negotiable.
DELIVERY
Solution Driven Process
We are a solution driven operation. The success of any Project relies on preparation, planning, scheduling, communication, completion, delivery and review, and through this ongoing process most issues and problems can be foreseen and strategically planned for. But when the unforeseeable does arise, we are adaptable and nimble. We deal with the facts, communicate with all key stakeholders, seek approval, then move forward.
Resources
Having operated in Gippsland for over 20 years, we have a great depth of available resources at our disposal. We have long standing, well established relationships with a variety of local Sub-contractors and Material suppliers and always utilise local providers where possible. We have learnt that this will provide us with a strong commitment and ongoing service that cannot otherwise be achieved.
Our External Providers are selected based on our Pre-Qualification process, which requires them to meet specific OHS, Quality and Industrial Relations criteria.
